Duration and eligibility
The LAREINE commercial warranty applies for one year from the original date of purchase shown on the sales receipt, invoice or order confirmation.
It applies to LAREINE jewelry purchased directly from LAREINE LIMITED or an officially authorized LAREINE point of sale. Proof of purchase is required so that the jewel and purchase date can be verified.
Rights relating to faulty goods may continue after the commercial warranty period where provided by applicable law.
What the warranty covers
The warranty covers verified manufacturing or material defects that become apparent during normal and appropriate use within the warranty period.
Examples that may be covered
- A structural issue caused by a manufacturing defect
- A defective clasp, connection or setting component
- A material defect present in the finished jewel
- Another fault confirmed by LAREINE following inspection
Available resolution
After assessment, LAREINE may repair the jewel or replace it with the same or an equivalent item under the commercial warranty, where appropriate.
The suitable resolution depends on the nature of the defect, technical feasibility, component availability and the customer’s applicable legal rights.
What is not covered
The commercial warranty does not cover damage or change that is unrelated to a manufacturing or material defect.
- Normal wear, including scratches, dents and gradual surface changes
- Accidental impact, crushing, snagging, bending or improper handling
- Loss, theft or disappearance of the jewel or any component
- Damage caused by chemicals, cosmetics, perfume, chlorine, extreme temperature or unsuitable cleaning
- Natural variations and characteristics inherent to diamonds, gemstones and handcrafted jewelry
- Changes to plating, polish or finish resulting from use and wear
- Incorrect storage, failure to follow care guidance or use inconsistent with the jewel’s design
- Resizing, alteration or repair performed by a party not authorized by LAREINE
Important
Coverage cannot be confirmed from photographs alone. Every request is subject to physical examination of the jewel and verification of the purchase information.
How to request service
Please contact LAREINE Client Services before sending or delivering a jewel. Our team will provide the appropriate instructions for your location.
Send your name, order details and preferred contact information.
Include clear photographs and explain when the issue became apparent.
Wait for return or appointment guidance before transferring the jewel.
The workshop examines the jewel and Client Services confirms the next step.
What to provide
- Proof of purchase, such as a receipt, invoice or order confirmation
- A description of the issue and how it occurred
- Clear photographs or video where useful
- The original certificate or accompanying documents when requested
- Your current telephone number, email and return location
Inspection and resolution
Once received, the jewel will be inspected to identify the cause of the issue and determine whether it falls within the commercial warranty.
If the request is covered, Client Services will confirm the proposed repair or replacement. If the issue is not covered, LAREINE may provide an aftercare recommendation or a repair estimate where the required service is available.
Estimated completion time depends on the complexity of the work, the availability of matching materials and the location from which the jewel is returned. No work outside warranty coverage will begin without the customer’s approval.
Secure transfer
Do not send jewelry without prior authorization. Follow the packing, insurance and delivery instructions issued by Client Services. Responsibility for transport arrangements and costs will be confirmed for the individual request and in accordance with applicable law.
Caring for your LAREINE jewel
Fine jewelry should be handled with care. Regular attention helps preserve its setting, surface and brilliance.
- Store each jewel separately in a soft lined box or pouch.
- Avoid impact, pressure and contact with abrasive surfaces.
- Remove jewelry before sport, sleep, bathing and household work.
- Avoid perfume, creams, hairspray, chlorine and harsh chemicals.
- Clean gently using a method suitable for its exact stones and materials.
- Request professional inspection if a stone or setting appears loose.
Some gemstones, treatments and constructions require specific care. Contact LAREINE before using an ultrasonic cleaner, steam cleaner or commercial cleaning solution.
Aftercare beyond the warranty
LAREINE may be able to assist with inspection, cleaning, polishing, resizing or repair after the commercial warranty period, subject to technical feasibility and service availability.
Aftercare services may be chargeable. The jewel will be assessed and any proposed work, estimated timing and applicable cost will be communicated before work begins.
